Energy Engineer from the Metropolitan Autonomous University with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate in Energy Engineering from UNAM. In addition, it has a specialization in renewable energies from the National Hydrocarbons Entity (ENI Group) in Urbino, Italy. He is a founding member and past president of the National Solar Energy Association and was chairman of the National Solar Energy Standardization Committee NESO-13. He was appointed member of the Latin American Solar Heating Committee in Belo Horizonte Brazil and Member of the German Academy of Renewable Energy in Berlin, Germany. He has directed the installation of more than 3,000 solar photovoltaic and water heating systems. It also has a patent for a double-opening evacuated tube solar heater.
