University Research Professor (University of Sonora), he was Technical Manager of the Hermosillo Solar Platform. He develops energy projects in the area of: Evaluation of renewable energy sources, Solar Concentration and Heat Transfer. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Engineering (AI) and of the SNI-CONAHCyT. He is currently the head of the Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Economy of the Government of the State of Sonora since October 2021. Responsible for the Social Programme of Distributed Solar Generation and the monitoring of the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan.
