Leader committed to renewable energy and just energy transition, passionate about sustainability and women's empowerment with international experience in business management, business development and strategy, technical consulting and engineering in renewable energy, and with close connections to the international energy sector.
As President of Mujeres en Energía Renovable México AC, (MERM) she co-founded MERL, the Latin American Network of Women in Energy that seeks the inclusion of more women in the energy sector, empowering and promoting initiatives with triple impact in the field of renewable energies in LATAM. She is a delegate for Mexico in the official W20 women's group, a G20 working group that forms a transnational network of women's organizations, businesswomen's associations and think tanks.
She is part of the board of directors of the Mexican Solar Association (ASOLMEX), of the Path to 100# of Wartzila, of the Latin American Council of Renewable Energy LACOORE. She is member of the MX Alliance and the Fossil Fuels Non-Proliferation Treaty, as well as Jury of The Start Up Energy Transition Award (SET).
She has been named 100 Powerful Women of Mexico by Forbes, 200 Important Women of Mexico by Mundo Ejecutivo, 10 women in Energy 2021, among other publications where she writes opinion articles, and actively participates in international conferences and forums as a speaker.

Dr. Enrique Quiroga-González,
Professor-Researcher at the Mexican Network of Energy Storage and at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla

Enrique Quiroga González studied Electronics Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo. He concluded his Master of Science studies (Microelectronics) at the Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (INAOE) in 2005. In 2010 he received his Ph.D. degree in Natural Sciences at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Kiel (Germany). Since 2010, and until December 2013, he was the leader of the Lithium Ion Battery Research area at the Institute of Materials Science of the same university.

Since January 2014 Dr. Quiroga works as a professor-researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP, in Puebla, Mexico), where he is currently the coordinator of the postgraduate program in Materials Science, and also the representative of the academic body "Low Dimensionality Structures", and of the Energy Laboratory. One of his main research interests is the development of micro- and nanostructured materials for energy generation and storage, and biomedical applications. He has published more than 60 scientific articles in international journals in these areas of knowledge, and belongs to the national system of researchers, with category 2. Additionally, since March 2017, he is the representative of the Mexican Energy Storage Network. Since 2021, he is technical advisor of the Energy Agency of the State of Puebla (Mexico).

Business and Marketing Strategist at matters, specialised in the solar industry, born in Mexico and based in Germany since 2004.

Her academic and professional background are international and multidisciplinary. She graduated with honours in Business Administration from the UNAM and holds a Master's degree in European Studies from the Hochschule Bremen in Germany. In addition, she has studied International Marketing, Leadership and Sustainable Development. She has working experience in the public, non-profit and private sector in Mexico and Germany, and has been part of the solar industry since 2008.

Her clients include highly recognised companies and organisations from the European and Mexican solar energy market. She is a creator, consultant, speaker and participates in several international projects.
